"Cuba is the most extraordinary country I have ever visited. It's been fascinating to explore Havana and Aleida has been a charming and helpful hostess. Some of the things I have enjoyed are... shopping in the Agromercados, and the museums and mojitos! And I have learned to barter with taxi drivers too...We've had a fantastic time in Havana - what an amazing city! Thank you Aleida for your hospitality and helpfulness, and delicious fruit and coffee to start the day..." |

Your hospitality, advice, help, food, family and house have made our visit to Havana and Cuba so great!...I will definitely recommend your place to everyone I meet and the next time I am coming to Havana, I hope there will be one room free at your casa particular.

"When we started planning for our Cuba trip two months prior to our flight, I e-mailed a few casas in Havana to start off our journey. Señora Aleida was the only one who e-mailed me back with an interest to help me plan our whole trip. I was sold. I sent her a list of towns I wanted to see and she responded with an itinerary. She sent me a list of other casas particulares in each town and booked them for us... With very little, she made killer omelettes for breakfast and made us feel like we lived there. Please let me know if you're staying with Señora Aleida so I can send her a thank you package..." |

"Your casa particular has proved to be a good base for exploring Havana. At first by foot, holding the map you drawed in my hands. Later, by means of a taxi particular, remembering your explanations about this form of public transportation. Always, it has been good to return to your hospitality and friendliness at home..."

"Thank you so much for welcoming me into you casa particular so warmly and making my stay in Cuba so amazing. I'll never forget your fantastic meals (and thank you for accommodating my strange eating habits!), impromptu salsa lessons (and sorry I am a bad dancer!), and great bike 'tur' maps of Havana for me to explore for my first few days here...Thank you once more for being such a great host and I wish you and your family a happy and exciting year..." |

I thank you once again for your hospitality and good recommendations in places to visit here in Cuba. I think the best part about staying here in Cuba is to learn to know the people and the best way is to stay in Casas Particulares like this...Christer and I will give you the best recommendations in Sweden to our friends for visiting Cuba..." |

"It's been great staying at your house, you've been brilliant: friendly and helpful, both organising things beforehand and when we actually got here. This is our first, but definitely not last time in Cuba, and I'd recommend Casa Particular Cuba to anyone (Keep up the Internet activity, it's a great way to find you). I only wish we could have stayed longer, but I guess there's always next time. Muchas gracias and keep in touch! |

"Thanks for showing a lot of pacience with me staying with you, and for giving me a great impression of cuban people. I think it's a fantastic land to spend a vacation. The atmosphere created by a mixture of old spanish colonial buildings and functionalism, palm trees and tobacco plants, tropical climate and temperature, old russian and american cars, this sure is exotic and fascinating to a 22 years old northern-european..." |

"My time spent in Cuba was amazing. The beauty of the country was only rivaled by the hospitality of the people. Cuba stands alone in so many ways, and its uniqueness is reflected in the culture, food and music. There is a certain tranquility and strength I noticed among the people, in the cities and in the countryside. Some of my best times were spent with families I met because I was staying in casas particulares. The casas particulares are the best way to see and experience Cuba and I would go back in a heartbeat. I maintain contact with some of these friends today and it brings a little bit of Cuba back home for me and fosters a very positive relationship between two countries which are otherwise at odds with each other. Cuba is awesome..." |

"I liked many things from Cuba, such as travelling in a particular taxi. The old american cars are amazing. I also liked renting a bicycle. I understand that maybe is dificult to talk about this but those things are the ones who make Cuba unique. I still think about Cuba and you a lot..." |
